"it can't be a ban if the thing's happening" - yeah, this line struck me - as a way of articulating what nobody can quite articulate about how fucking strange and horrifying this era is - like, it can't be ____ if the thing's happening - the frog slowly boiling in the pot - slowly turning into the handmaid's tale - except about as far from "post-racial" as you can get - it's gonna take real courage and strength from americans - that's easy for me to say here, we got issues too, but not the kind of demands that are going to be made on americans to take their country back - i don't envy having to wage that battle, i wish i could do more to help, i am watching it closely, as awful as it is, although i stopped watching police shooting videos, i just can't bare it anymore - keep writing
