that's what i want to be
because i'm tired of crying
and wishing but i just
can't stop bitching.

so i took all the letters
containing your name
and muted them. i'll use them
one day i'm sure. maybe before
i fall into the fray again
just as reminders of how
the lies of the mind
can infect the body as well
how the lines in our lives
lead us to the places
we need the most. i guess
cuz that's where we stay.
