first the mountain burned down now it's mudslides, tornadoes and flash floods

if i were a religious pedagogue, i'd say GOD
was visiting his wrath upon the sinners of tennessee
but it's more like climate change has made a perfect
storm to wipe the mountains clean .

am i sick or what?

the price is wrong

so this guy price tapped for health and human services head,
has been slavering for a chance to defund medicare and make
no mistake, medicaid. he's gonna give you a voucher and a tax credit
alla way up to 3000with which to purchaase insurance.. pre existing conditions
will not be covered, insurance must be continuous so don't leave your job.  and for god's sake don't get poor!

Price is all for right
to life, not so much your
 life, but a feotus'.so , yeah life.
Healthy life, meh, who needs that.  what happens
after its born is up to the 'rents .{ and what's this
story about a woman being jailed for assault on foetus cuz her self-inflicted coat hanger abortion  didn't take. yeah, babe was born 1.5 lbs, a couple weeks later so they couldn't get her for murder but in tennessee, the crime of  assault specifically includes feotus. still think they won't jail you if you have an abortion? wake up feople.} he and paul ryan
( of the republican senate ryans)
have a plan to save YOU money
by letting insurers compete for your business.

as anyone who's been in the workforce for the past
ten years can attest, that's gone over real well
what with the double digit increases, and the speed
at which they drop you or pop you with new
out of pocket expenses that don't even
apply to your deDUCTable let's just say
i'm sure those with chronic illnesses are
lining up like cattle in a chute
to jump on that gravy train
ready to be served a very thin gruel
at twice the price.

listen. can we have a little common sense here?
we aren't talking about medical care.
we're talking about how to insure
people who don't want  or can't afford
to be insured.  young people don't think they need it
and poor people can't buy it at any price.
i mean how's your alzheimer's brother gonna
get treatment on disability with a damn voucher
and who will manage his money, chose  his
fucking carrier and whatever doctor might be on
this shoestring budget policy he can afford?
what about that triple by pass your dad needs?
we've seen how insurance companies  manage
risk, does a 75 year old really need an active heart?
and if your cake baking favorite
aunt strokes out ensure she has a low enough
 deductible for admission
before dialing emt. manage your health people-
if you can't afford an epi pen don't eat peanuts
it's pretty simple, let price and ryan show you how

wouldn't it be so much more human
not to mention humane, if
 we didn't make medical care
a profit based system.
i'd like to take a moment to reflect on what
that might feel like. but i can't.
i don't see it now and i can't see it
with all these reformers standing in the way.
giving tax money to the insurance industry
in the form of cafe taxes {still paid for by you
dear worker b } hasn't satisfied
the corporate lust for profit.
how is it the medical industrial complex
the MIC all over again
is allowed to exploit our bodies
yet they arrest prostitutes and their johns?

raison d'etre for insurance is to manage risk
for profit's sake but you know
we all gon  die, we all gonna get sick we all
gonna need some help sometime ain't no scaping that
so what do you do when i come to you hat
in hand no pennies to scrape together
and show you the tumor on my head?
hand me a form to fill out, then
check the box : better off dead.

the internet of things is the orwellian dream

it's where we are, currently
social media the step sister of morning exercise
twittering all day long our hour of hate,
hour of love, bowing to the ministry of peace
as it wages war.

double speak is all in the irony
  we've trumped it up  tarty
chunked it up with broken hearts
 baked in an orange sauce,

watch dropping jaws as washington's sharks
come out to play with the man who
wanted to rule the world. but he died this year
or las/t/ ziggy stardust in the blastomatic buoyancy
singing songs about the comics of the past.

kkkkkkkmy finger just keeps doing that
it's a trunk of american folklore
long unopened in daylight, now
sprouting wheels, an iron cross,
and a vw mini bus engine
to come grinding through
 some seventh grade near you.

it's a perfect sheet for a beard
a double agent, tripling self
congratulations in the form
of adulation of the masses
as the ministry of truth
fucks us in the asses.

caterwalking

never no ever
in the past lives regression
there's only now and zen
in a kind of weird expression

you might think you're being clever
find the stories that you like
you might think you live forever
in those stories full of whim

but they only tease and beckon
you away from this, your life.
you must live it mindfully
even if it's full of strife.

so the outsiders he was talking about
are the insiders of the business world
and state governments
oil companies will get to choose their
regulators, epa will be staffed
with non scientists, that is the requirement-
\you have no specialty in the field
being regulated what the fuck?????
well that was the repub congress
but now no immanent veto will stop them.

yeah mommy, i'm scared. i am gonna
be an ostrich i think i don't have
the strength to fight the fear instead
i will love love love the fight in others
or wait i am just scared mommy that it
wont be enough.

poison ivy isn't deadly, it just
itches like a bitch.

live blog the ninth inning of hell freeze immanent

you found the game on espn radio
on the internet and here comes the familiar
rain of the crowd, excited and now the rain
begins and i ask i thot they didn't play
in the rain? but no, they will as long as there's no
lightning. the managers at the mound cuz he walked
a cub and pitched another ball. cubs leading
till the bottom of the eighth and now it's just like
the election. don't take the dude out count 2-2
this is your last chance. foul tip.  guy on first
stayin on first, pitcher keeping him there
and another foul tip. cub's still on first
hayward got to win this game
cuz the curse because hell been on fire
too long, we need  snow  burn.
another foul tip throw the man a goddamn strike
what are you afraid of a cub, diving back in
reaching base getting your uniform wet
clay stained and if chicago wins
they gonna burn that city down.

a hit, an out. a cub on first. the managers come out
commenters talking how the runner may have
been obstructed in his approach no wait  the baseman
may have been obstructed i mean come on what
kind of pussy baseball are we playing here
lookit on the instant replay and goddamn you
just wasted our time manager the ref was right
can we just play ball? pitching change on deck.

the home run that tied the indians wouldn't have been
out of the park anywhere but cleveland and wrigley
and now hayward scampers to third. the temptation
to exist through how many outs.
just one . foul bunt. 2 down.

let's talk about that pipeline the indians are protesting
yeah they gonna stop it when horns got icicles. meanwhile
three down from the shortstop to first. bottom of the ninth
and look , those indians didn't attend not one of the meetings
held about the pipeline, there's gonna be a pipeline
we can't live without oil , we can't stop with oil
who's gonna build the mount that stands up
the rising seas. have you ever seen a glacier
hit the shoreline after it calves. it's three sliders
to start off here against santana, 2-1 waaay outside
with a fast ball and it's 3-1. 3-2 on santana, strike at 92mph
chapman battles through, last game of the world
series, cubs vs indians, tied in the ninth.
chapman not ready to quit it's 0-2 batter
gotta swing, all sliders that hang in the pocket
foul down the right field line, 2 more sliders out
and it's a full count. some of the crowd will be
jubilant, some will be heartbroken at the end of the game.
light mist still falling fast ball swung and missed.
2 down. i kinda want the indians to win
but the right field fly easy out extends this battle.
cubs blew it in the eigth raje davis hits the tying
home run. the rain is coming down so hard.
the tarp is going down. who the hell has time
to stay up for this. it may be a delay
what the hell, what if the election is the same way?
rain delay theatre. extra innings? just play
another game tomorrow. at the same stadium.
it all depends on the weather.

in the tenth inning cubs score, bases loaded
rain delay, brief but we switched the channel
so come back in with this scenario, great job
of hitting by montero into the left field pocket
bases still loaded now the cubs lead 8-6
only one out. they will wipe up the indians
like a backhoe on the dakota burial grounds.
o-1. indian line up is the 4-5-6 reserved for even
innings. pitching o-2 then the pitcher knocks out this boy
bases still loaded, hayward on third blocked
for that insurance run. time called. need a commercial.
the rain has subsided. less than 20 minutes and we missed
three base hits. this is why baseball is intriguing
the open ended way the rules let time and circumstance
change things in an instant. tornado sport.
but mostly it's just the normal three up, three down
time to go to the dugout. a fly ball left field takes
us to the bottom of the 10th. three outs away
from cliche. the fifth sign of the apocalypse
and we got a relief pitcher on the mound.
should be easy, 1-2. fast ball. hit this baby. 4-5-6.
2-2 now. swing and miss by napoli. one down.
commentor says it woulda bit a ball.
big first out you can feel the lambs begin
to panic. 97 mph strike 0-1. outside curve 0-2.
new pitcher indians. this will be fast.
like a gatlin gun. break ball misses 1-2.
2-2. the disbelief in the faces of the cub fans.
swing , to short, to first, 2 down. the chicago cubs
one out away from breaking the curse. well, it the
world's gonna end you should kiss me.
ball 2. ball 3 brings out a new ball and talk.
3 fast balls. calm down. nothing fancy.
ball 4. one on base . raje davis at bat.
the tying run. just like the 8th.
line drive base hit, indian on first,
runner scores. stolen base leader of the american league
on base. this is getting innaresting.
you don't get ahit . relief is out , putting
someone else. wouldn't it be cool
if they put the starter back in?no way
they wanna win. not make a movie
new guy's a lefty. strike 1 then the batter
hits a slow chopper
to third. the cubs have won the world series!!!
they are mobbing the field!!!!!!! kissme cuz
it's gonna be cold down here .
